Details The Tough war memorial stands on a rise to the north of the Parish church (NJ61SW0024). It commemorates both World War I and II. The memorial is surmounted by the statue of a kilted soldier with a Glengarry bonnet, standing with bowed head, holding an inverted rifle. The memorial is rectangular, slightly tapering as it rises, of rough carved granite standing on a two-stepped base. It was unveiled on 21 March 1923. There are also a number of war graves in the churchyard (NJ61SW0024). Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
