Remains of a hut circle which was excavated in 1999 revealing a lack of internal levels and finds owing to considerable disturbance from bracken roots. The walls did not form a perfect circle, having a markedly straighter line on the north side. The walls survived to a maximum height of 0.6m, and varied in width between 1.10m and 0.9m. In most areas the inner and outer faces of the wall were formed of large stones extending across the width of the wall with smaller stones between and patchy traces of yellow clay packing. The entrance faced west/southwest with a carefully fitted threshold. A small sub-rectangular annexe abutted the outside wall of the building directly to the south of the entrance. This was cut into the slope enclosed by a kerb of medium sized stones set on edge with an apparently deliberately laid floor of yellow clay.
