Details Standing stone and possible remains of a stone circle. Coles described three standing stones which he says are the remains of a stone circle. OS site visit 1969 noted that an upright stood here which may be Coles' 'A' stone with another earthfast stone beside it on the north, but that there was no further evidence to support the theory of a stone circle. By 1977 the standing stone had been removed to the southwest corner of the field. RCAHMS site visit 2001 recorded a large granite boulder in the corner of the field measuring 2.2m by 1.4m and at least 1.1m. Another, smaller stone lies in a paddock immediately to west.
