Details The farmstead of Brindy is depicted on the OS map of 1867 as a small U-plan steading with open court to the south. Another range lies to the east. To the north and northwest are two long ranges that join at a wide angle. The longer range is orientated roughly east-west and projects beyond the other range orientated northeast-southwest. A millpond lies to the north of the main range. By 1888 long range has been shorten to meet a new range north-south range which replaces the original northeast-southwest range. The U-plan steading and the east range still stand with two other small buildings to the south. The pond is still in the north. Today only the eastern and part of the main steading appear to survive of the original buildings, along with later buildings. The pond has now gone and the area partly built over.
