An area of rectilinear cropmarks, shown on aerial photographs. Possibly agricultural, including some maybe resulting from a riding track. A watching brief (NJ63SE0105) was undertaken by Cameron Archaeology on July 5th 2016, during a topsoil strip of Trench 2, a section of a cable corridor through the southern area of cropmarks, following a walkover survey ahead of cable laying for south-southeast (NJ62NE0181). An area of furrows and prehistoric activity was identified in the west end of the trench (NJ63SE0106), within the southwest area of the cropmarks.
