Details Former stables and carriage house of Eden House (NJ65NE0024), depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps but adapted into two dwellings circa 1975-8. It has a long E-plan single storey and attic range with east facing front door articulated by shallow advanced and gabled central bays and more pronounced outer wings. The buildings are white harled with granite ashlar margins. There are two segmental-headed carriage houses in the centre gabled bay. The entrances to these are now multi-pane glazed but retaining double-leaf plank doors as external shutters. The outer advanced wings have regular fenestration. The south dwelling has a doorway at the re-entrant angle. The north return wing was originally expressed as 3-bay cottage, with a gablet above the centre door.
