A quadrangular farm steading with 2-stage tower of 19th century date. It is much altered although the northeast and southeast ranges are still relatively intact. It is harled, with Turriff sandstone margins. The northeast elevation is a 2-storey range with a 2 stage pedimented tower in the centre. There is a segmental-arched vehicular pend with a loft above. A segmental arched doorway with boarded door leads to second stage with a pediment above with clock by W Roger, Banff. There are flanking 3-bay ranges, which are now asymmetrical with windows at ground. Smaller hayloft windows and loading doors break the eaves in dormerheads above. A modern segmental arch vehicle pend lies to the outer right. The southeast elevation is almost symmetrical built on rising ground with a central loading door at first floor with flanking louvred windows. Three segmental cart-arches to outer bays, grouped to each end of the elevation (two to outer left blocked). The courtyard and other ranges have modern slappings. The roofing is of grey slates with coped skews and stacks.
