Details On the 11th June 1881, the lugger KITTY LASS, of Whitehills, with a crew of 4 under Captain Lovie, departed Whitehills, in ballast, for fishing but foundered at the entrance to Black Pots Haven, 2 miles W of Banff. Four of crew lost.
