It is constructed from dark whinstone, with tooled ashlar dressings and margins. The principal elevation has a centre recessed entrance, flanked to the west by a canted bay window, and to the east by a tripartite in an advanced gable. The first floor has bipartites in the outer bays, at the west breaking the wallhead. The windows have plate glass timber sash and case glazing. The slate roof features apex finials.
