House, still in use, built in the earlier 19th century, probably incorporating an earlier core. It is a tall, two-storey and attic, dry-dashed house, with painted and tooled ashlar margins. It has a regular front to George Street and return east gable to Braehead. The principal elevation has a centre entrance, with late 19th century canted wallhead dormers in the outer bays. The return gable to Braeheads has regular fenestration, with two ground and two first floor windows. The windows have four-pane timber sash and case glazing. The slate roof has coped end and rear wallhead stacks.
