Dam on the Leuchar Burn dating from 1923, forming a reservoir between Netherton of Garlogie (NJ70NE0142) and Milton of Garlogie (NJ70NE0130). The dam is of masonry construction, 5.7 m high with a crest length of 32.9 m. A low level masonry wall extends along both banks for 80 m downstream. See NJ70NE0010 for Garlogie Mill. Standing building recording of the dam was carried out by GUARD Archaeology in June 2023 prior to partial removal. most remains as constructed in 1923. It has a vertical north-east elevation, standing a maximum of 5.7 m high in the central section. At the southeast end of this elevation a rectangular iron plate conceals a power conduit. At the bottom of the central section is a decanting chamber at the base of which is the drainage gallery through which the river flows. A major repair carried out in the concrete body of the dam was recorded near its northeast end. The southwest facing elevation is 6 m high, the concrete wall covered with granite blocks. The dam has three abutment walls, two on left bank and one on the right bank. On top of the two dam wall's ends are parapet walls of cement bonded granite masonry.
