The Echt war memorial stands in the cemetery, southeast of the parish church. It commemorates the dead of World War I. It is rectangular with a splaying out towards the base. The corners are angled and panels are inset into rough dressed blocks. It stands on a two-step base of rough dressed granite. The memorial is surmounted by a kilted soldier, with Glengarry, carrying a rifle slung over his right shoulder and a pack over his other. One leg is forward of the other. It was erected in 1921.
