Details A 12ft high granite pillar was erected at this site by the Deeside Field Club in 1951 to commemorate the 1562 battle of Corrichie between the Earls of Gordon and Moray (NJ60SE0001). The Gaelic inscription reads 'CUIMHNICHIBH LA COIRE FRAOICHIDH' - Remember the day of Corrichie.
