Details Defence of Scotland project recorded a World War II prisoner-of-war camp at Harlaw for German soldiers, though exact location is unclear. A 1947 camp list has the entry for Camp 111 Deer Park Monymusk (NJ61NE0031) crossed out and altered to Harlaw, Inverurie 29. Harlaw is not separately listed so unclear whether this was a separate camp or a satellite to Monymusk.
