Gate lodge, still in use, built in circa 1830-40 with later additions, sited to the south-east of Muiresk House (NJ74NW0034). It is a single-storey building that has whitewashed harling with red sandstone margins and chimneys. There is a two-window and two-column Roman-Doric open porch with the eaves cut back to the drive and a pedimented bay window to the road. The original glazing remains, and there is a later two-window piended west addition.
