Details House, now in commercial use, depicted on historic OS maps, named Buxburn House on the 1st edition. These show the house with a walled garden to the southwest. The Ordnance Survey Name book (1869), describes Netherhills as 'a large and recently erected dwelling house two storeys high with plot of ornamental ground and garden. The house is slated and in excellent repair.'
