Cairn of large granite blocks, which lies on a natural slope in the wooded policies of Binghill, 200m southwest of Binghill House. It measures about 8m by 6m and is about 1.8m high. It was surveyed by the OS in 1864-5 when it was described as a large tumulus, nearly elliptical, comprised of 'rough unhewn stones of different sizes piled promiscuously to the height of 6 or 7 feet in the centre', and stated that it was said to have been the burying place of the family of Drum, a property in the neighbouring parish.
