Details A cup-marked boundary stone of Freedom Lands of Aberdeen, recorded in 1698. It was described in the 1698 riding as a saucer stone next to a cairn (NJ80SE0487) on the edge of a road. The cup-shaped depression in the top measures 75mm in diameter and is 25mm deep. A few stones scattered around the base of the boundary stone may be the remains of a cairn which once also marked the line of the march. See also NJ80SE0355 for the later March stone.
