Details	Site of a house depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows a house, then named Dalhebity Cottage set within wooded grounds (see NJ80SE0459 for gardens and grounds). It had been extended with the addition of two wings in 1891 by Mackenzie and Matthews, and on the OS 2nd edition map is named 'Dalhebity'. It was further considerably enlarged in the 20th century. A building survey was carried out by Cameron Archaeology November 2007-January 2008 prior to its demolition.
