A large area of rig and furrow recorded during walkover survey by Murray Archaeological Services in October 2020 over areas proposed for houses (Plot Nos. 31-35) around the periphery of the estate grounds (see NJ82NW0090). The rigs extend southeast-northwest, the centres of the rigs 8 m apart, and they are of maximum height 0.5 m. They can be traced for circa 40 m from the road. It is within woods planted in the late 18th century, shown on a 1780 estate plan and so date to pre-18th century, possibly as early as the medieval period and continuing in use to the 18th century.
