Remains of ring cairn, previously interpreted as a small stone circle (and depicted as such on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps). As described by Coles (1902) it comprised at least nine upright stones remain, the highest being 1.6m, the interior filled with field clearance. Burl suggested the possibility of these being the remains of a ring cairn or a four-poster. The central area was cleared of stone dumping under archaeological supervision in 1999. Scheduling description records a ring of circa 2 stones with a superficial resemblance to a stone circle. The ring measures circa 5m in diameter.
