Details Site of a timber yard depicted on the OS 1st edition map, which also shows a smithy and engine house on the road side of the yard, and a public house at the southeast corner of the site. Late part of the shipbuilding yards - see NJ90NE0282. Site monitoring by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit in March 1998 during excavation of foundation pads for a new office building; no archaeological features were observed.
