Details Site of a chapel built in 1721, and of a later church. St Paul's Episcopal Chapel is depicted on the OS 1st edition map, with a school to the northeast of the church. It was demolished in 1865 to make way for St Paul's Church, built in 1866-67 by A Marshall MacKenzie. It closed for worship in 1966 and was one of two redundant religious buildings to be demolished to make way for the Bon Accord Shopping Centre. A survey and photographic record of the building was made by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit.
