Details House, designed by George Jaffrey 1802. It is 2-storey, harled with granite dressings. The 3-bay front has a central pediment, centre and angle pilasters, a central 4-column Roman Doric porch, with a Venetian window above. Used as a Civil Defence sub-control centre. Now a community centre. A plaque to poet Captain Charles Hamilton Sorley, killed in the First World War in October 1915 at the Battle of Loos, was unveiled at Powis House in November 2018.
