Boundary stone. Not shown on the OS 1st or 2nd edition map. Ten boundary markers, of which seven are still in position, formerly marked the southern edge of the now decommissioned barracks of the Gordon Highlanders and are depicted on the 1962 OS map. Each of the surviving markers is a flat-topped concrete block, measuring 0.31m square and about 0.7m in height; the initials of the War Department adjacent to an upward facing arrow are impressed in one side.
