Former National Dock Labour Offices, dating from the late 19th Century, still in use as offices. It is a symmetrical, single storey block of 3 bays, with distinctive curved shaped gables to the outer bays with deep-set occuli. It is built of rock-faced grey and pink granite with polished dressings, and a grey slate roof with clay ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. The central entrance has a polychromatic semi-circular arch above and a wide stepped gable. There are tripartite window openings with stone mullions. The national Dock Labour Board was set up in 1944 to organise workers within the dock and regularise casual employment.
