A gateway, which possibly came from the Spring Garden Works (NJ90NW0085). Cast and wrought iron gates are set in a former entrance door with moulded, shouldered, architraved surround below consoled entablature. Above the lintel a centrally positioned triglyph 'key' stone with 'MK' monograph in relief. The gates are in Edwardian Rennaisance style with Dutch pediment to each gate leaf head; the left hand with '19' in relief and the right-hand '16'. Below, cast cartouches have a swiss cross formed into a letter hole (left) and a number 20(right)in relief. Vertical balusters with spear-head finials and intermediary dog rail with arrow head finials. The gateway was probably reconstructed in association with adjacent 1980s housing development.
