Details Fountain within Victoria Park (NJ90NW0156). The octagonal granite ashlar fountain in the centre of a large circular pool was designed by JB Pirie 1878. A band of rough faced stone rises from the basin, with tooled symbols and monograms below the coping and small stylised flower basins spout water to each angle of the octagon. The shaft of the central spout is ornamented with Greek motifs and stylised flowers. The fountain was restored in 2022.
