Details Site of a boundary (march) stone (and cairn) of the Freedom Lands of Aberdeen, described in 1698 as an 'eard-fast ston with a carne'. The 1780 description mentions a saucer mark. The stone was missing as early as 1840, and a subsequent replacement also appears to have been removed. See NJ90SW0971 for extant march stone.
