Details Church, still in ecclesiastical use, built in 1900-01 by Brown and Watt, architects. The present hall is earlier, built in 1872 by James Matthews in the chancel position, and depicted on the OS 2nd edition map as a free church. The present church is in a late gothic style with a nave and transepts and a short spire. The lower courses are bull faced with pinned rubble above.
