Details Pits, and rig and furrow recorded during a watching brief carried out by CFA in 2017 during groundworks for the an underground cable route (NJ81SW0309). Four oval pits measured between 0.6 m and 1.55 m across and up to 0.35 m deep. One contained a large quartz cobble which may be an artefact. The largest pit contained a fragment of broken and burnt quern stone, and a flint flake. To the south of these an irregular pit contained prehistoric pottery and charcoal.
