Burial ground depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps as a rectangular enclosure. An enclosure survives in a field 30m south-east of Whitestripes Cottage. It was the burial-ground of the Cassie family of Whitestripes and comprises a circular mound of stones and boulders; it measures about 7.5m in diameter and 1m in height, and is enclosed by a dry-stone revetment wall. A single red sandstone grave-marker of 18th century date, which has broken into at least seven pieces, lies on the top of the mound.
