War Memorial of Logie Buchan, in the form of a bridge over the River Ythan 200 m from the church. The bridge engineers were MacDonald and Parters Ltd, Glasgow, and the contractors William Tawse Ltd. There is a bronze plaque set into either side of the parapet. The plaques are of simple rectangular shape with foliated borders. Originally unveiled April 27 1935, one side commemorates the dead of World War I, the other side is to World War II dead. Newspaper articles record fund-raising for the erection of the bridge, and the bridge opening ceremony in 1935. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
