Garden house, built in 1715 with additions and alterations by James Matthews in 1851, and is part of the gardens at Ellon Castle (NJ93SE0001). It was originally a three-storey, three-window building, reduced to two-storey with a neo-Tudor parapet and stairs added in 1851. The house is constructed from piinned rubble with channel-pilastered angles and an architraved doorpiece with pulvinated frieze.
