Sandhaven harbour, built in the 19th Century. It has a large basin formed by one long L-plan pier and a short straight pier, with a subdividing straight pier. Most of the works are in concrete, and are badly decayed. There is a boat-building yard at the west end of the harbour. During WWII concrete barricades were built on all of the harbours. Site visit in 2022 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey noted signs of decay, especially on the pier of the larger harbour extension.
