Details Harbour offices, dated 1791 at the skewputt. The OS 1st edition (25 inch surveyed 1869) shows a hotel on the site, an L-plan building with additional buildings to the west. There had been some alterations/additions by the time of the 2nd edition (25 inch circa 1901 and 1925 revisions) on which it is annotated as a Public House. The harbour office is a rectangular building, 2-storey, 3-window of heathen rubble, partly stuccoed and with quoin angles where originally exposed.
