Details Golf staters box, still in use, built in 1899 for the Curden Bay Hotel (NK03NE0127). It is a single-storey, rectangular-plan pavilion overlooking the links golf course, and is constructed from painted, rough-hewn timber to the south-east and south-west, and has a lean-to to the south-west. Broad overhanging eaves are supported by braced, timber columns to form a veranda. There are herringbone-pattern timber panels to the dado with vertically arranged timber above, two-leaf panelled timber and glazed doors and geometric fanlights. Predominantly geometric-pattern glazing is used to the upper sashes, with four-pane lower sashes, in timber windows. It has a red tiled piended roof with decorative terracotta ridging and finials. The interior (seen in 2013) is largely unaltered plan. The two principal rooms are lined with vertically boarded timber and a timber cill course, with timber roof trusses and sarking. There is a store room to the south-west and toilet facilities in the lean-to section.
