Former smithy, now in residential use, probably built in the mid 19th century although possibly earlier, within the village of Meikle Inverey (NO08NE0044). It is a single-storey rubble building with some harl remaining to the south (front) elevation. The south elevation has a small deep-set window to far left, and a single low door near centre. There is a single low door to the north (rear) elevation. The end gables have vertical timber boarding with plain bargeboards. There is a low rubble lean-to to the west gable and a corrugated iron roof with thatch insulation.
