A drystone structure built high up on the north slope of Creag Bhalg. Aligned north-south, the structure comprises an oval chamber with entrance to the north, built of thin slabs of Scots slate which abut the bedrock on the south side. The upper parts of the wall and/or the roof have collapsed into the chamber. The maximum dimensions of the chamber are: length 2.5m, width 1.6m and height 1.1m. A cupboard niche has been built into the west wall near the entrance. The structure sits within an area of outcropping slate which has been quarried in the past, and may well be a shelter for use while working the quarry.
