Details Remains of a building, formerly a Roman Catholic Chapel used by Father Charles Farquharson between 1745 and 1781. An inscribed stone marks his 'seat', a recess in a green mossy bank. It later became a house and was ruinous in 1925. OS (1976) recorded the remains of a building at NO11999031 measuring circa 11.3 m by 3.6 m with walls circa 0.6 m thick and standing up to 1.4 m high, noting that an altar was built in the building in 1965 and mass was held there annually. The remains are part of the depopulated settlement of Arderg (NO19SW0003).
