The building, which stands detached from the enclosure, measures 34.7 m by 5.5 m over stone wall-footings and is divided into four compartments. The enclosure measures 13 m by 6 m within a ruinous stone wall. It is depicted on the 1st edition OS map, but shown as abandoned on the later 2nd edition. Another building lies 250 m to the east at NO2938 5745.
