Details Statue, erected by M Geiss, Berlin, in the late 19th century, painted in 1929 and refurbished in 1986. It is a carved bronze statue of a roe deer, painted as life-like, standing on a granite pedestal and bronze plinth in a dwarf quadrant walled recess by the eastern parterre of Balmoral Castle (NO29NE0023). It has a partner, also by Geiss, in a perrier to the west of the castle (NO29NE0055).
