Details Site of three cists and cairns. Three short cists containing ashes and bones were found before 1864 on 'top of Craigbeg' near Lochnagar Distillery. Each cist was surrounded by a circle of stones, possibly peristaliths, the stones weighing between 5 and 15cwts (possibly cairns). About a foot from one of the cists was discovered a carved stone ball, circa 75mm in diameter with six circular discs cut on its surface. OS site visit 1967 noted that the name Criagbeg was not known locally but likely referred to a crag overlooking the distillery.
