Cottage, still in use, built in 1875 with a circa 1900 addition. It is a single storey, six-bay cottage constructed from squared and coursed granite with block and sneck to the gables and a base course. The grey slate roof has coped skews and gablehead stacks. The south-east elevation has an off centre door with a bracketed, gabled canopy. The boarded door has a three-pane fanlight and is closely flanked by windows to either side. The north-west elevation is against the bank and has a small gabled addition, circa 1900, projecting at the centre, with a timber-mullioned bipartite window to one side and the other blank. Both gable ends are black. It is situated to the north of the South Garden and Queen Mary's garden (see NO29SE0037).
