Stable court and steading, dating from circa 1820, located to the north of the site of Balruddery House (NO33SW0109), designed by David Neave. Single-storey and attic, and 2-storey and attic, quadrangular-plan, classically planned stable court/steading, which has been converted into six residential units in 1992. Rubble construction with tooled and margined ashlar dressings and a grey slate roof. There are modern out-of- character stained timber windows, small modern dormers with piended roofs and gabled canopy porches. The south elevation has a dovecot with three rows of flight holes to the attic, a pyramidal roof with a louvred ventilator and weather cock at the ridge.
