Details	A disc-headed cross slab, probably an Early Christian grave marker, discovered in a pile of stonework in the ruined church of Nevay (see NO34SW0001) in 1988. The stone measures 31cm x 30cm x 10cm and is carved on one face with a sunken cross with wedge-shaped arms within an incised circle with a small square raised boss at the centre. The stone was removed to Montrose Museum. Another cross-slab was noted at the same time. It was a small stone incised with an equal-armed cross within a circle, the larger part of which had broken off. Its whereabouts is unknown.
