Period Notes

The present church was built in 1828-9, on a previous church probably dating to the 17th century. There has been a church on the site since at least the 13th century, with it being granted to Inchaffray Abbey in 1287, then Brechin Cathedral in 1429. The church and graveyard were listed on 11/06/1971.
