Township recorded by RCAHMS Glen Clova survey in 1999, and comprising at least 10 buildings and huts, a corn-drying kiln, several enclosures and a head dyke. The head dyke is now reduced to fragmentary lengths of grass-grown bank, and seven buildings and the kiln are disposed along its length. The buildings measure from 7.5m to 12m,the walls reduced to footings, and the huts measure from 2.5m to 5.6m in length internally. The kiln is 2.2m in diameter with a flue on the southwest. To the north, at the east end of the head dyke, are two conjoined enclosures, with three huts built against the common bank. The features were also recorded during walkover survey in 2021 (NO37SW0150).
