To the east is an L-plan farmhouse and garden. By the time of the 2nd edition map there had been some additions to the steadings, including infilling of the inner court, and the horsemill is no longer shown. There have since been some further alterations and additions. Four sculptured stones from the castle of Wedderburn (NO43NW0016) demolished some time after 1794, are built into the farm buildings.
