Dovecot, built in the early-18th century. Shown as a rectangular dovecot on the 1st edition OS map, and on the 2nd edition OS map it is depicted as 'old dovecot'. It is a lectern-type dovecot with rubble masonry and large irregular pink sandstone quoins and a corrugated metal roof. A rat course is stepped at the side elevations, and there are flat coped skews with moulded skew ends. The doorway is in the south elevation, and has been enlarged. A flight-hole with the remains of a perch shelf asymmetrically placed at the eaves. Inside there is a single chamber and stone nesting boxes.
